High Noon Entertainment, a leader in quality, nonfiction television programming, has an incredible opportunity for an Ohio University Film Division student. High Noon Entertainment is located in Denver, Colorado. The student selected for the internship will be responsible for transportation (car required), living and boarding arrangements. In return, the student will receive a $5000 scholarship.
The internship will run for eight weeks from June 3 – July 26 (dates are somewhat flexible). The intern will be involved in all aspects of show production for leading networks such as Food Network, HGTV, and Discovery. The intern may research and cast for a show, may perform production assistant duties, and may have the opportunity to assist in the editing process.
Last summer, OU Film student Gavin Farnsworth participated in the internship. There he worked on the television series Prospectors. At the end of the internship, he was hired on through October to assist in finishing the series. Through the internship, Gavin gained valuable experiences both on set and in the editing room.
The application deadline for the internship is March 21st. For more information, contact Steve Ross, the director of the OU Film Division.
