Over winter break, first-year MFA student Ha Kin Vu began work on a long-term documentary project. She traveled to New York City to begin preliminary research and production about musical street performers. As a Vietnamese native, Ha Kin first traveled to the United States when she was eleven, and that’s when she became fascinated by performers. She hopes to find a unique individual to profile for a feature-length documentary.
During her two-week trip in New York City, Ha Kin used a 5D Mark II. She intends to return over the summer to continue the project.
