Mr. Burnett, seminal independent filmmaker, will attend AIFVF as a guest artist to screen his films Killer of Sheep (1977) -- which was declared by the Library of Congress as a National Treasure -- and To Sleep with Anger (1990). Read more about Mr. Burnett here.

Mr. Lachman, Academy Award-winning cinematographer and Ohio University alumnus, will also attend AIFVF as a guest artist to screen Far From Heaven (Dir. Todd Haynes, 2002) and Carol (Dir. Todd Haynes, 2015). AIFVF will also introduce The Film House Award, a new AIFVF initiative given to a visionary filmmaker screening in the competition, in honor of Mr. Lachman. Read more about Mr. Lachman and The Film House Award here.

Mr. De Jarnatt, filmmaker, writer and Ohio University Film professor, will be also attend AIFVF as a guest artist to screen Miracle Mile (1988). De Jarnatt's cult class films Miracle Mile, Cherry 2000 and Strange Brew had retrospective revivals on Blu Ray special edition in 2015. Read more about Mr. De Jarnatt here
