Samuel Stanton was born in Westminster, Maryland. He graduated from Washington & Jefferson College in 2018 with a degree in History and a minor in Communication Arts with an Emphasis in Film Studies. Samuel’s passion for film has lead to several short film projects and many hundreds of hours of film viewing. His interests lie in history, including the study of Anarchism, the work of James Joyce and Cormac McCarthy, and the filmmakers Andrei Tarkovsky, Alain Resnais and Joel & Ethan Coen. He plans to pursue a career in teaching High School History.
