Daniel was born and raised in Bogotá, Colombia. He moved to the States when he was 18 and majored in Psychology and English and minored in Film Studies at SUNY Albany. Throughout this time he worked on a few film projects and wrote a variety of film-related essays, having had a few reviews published in the Mexican film magazine, Cinemania. He likes exploring the different ways in which you can cook a plantain, and has a mild obsession with Woody Allen films.
