Sam Stewart is originally from Albany, New York.  He received his B.A. in Film Studies from the University of Rochester where he minored in Women’s Studies.  In 2013 he graduated Magna Cum Laude and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa honor society.  He has produced several short films over the course of his undergraduate career, and has received first and third prize in the Gollin Film Festival.  Sam is interested in exploring issues of gender, language, and culture through the blending of classical and experimental filmmaking techniques.
