Rob Fleurent was born and raised in the suburbs outside of Boston, Massachusetts. In 2009, he graduated from Central New Mexico Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Liberal Arts. Thereafter, he enrolled at the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor to study English and Literature but decided to change career paths, ultimately graduating from New Mexico State University’s Creative Media Institute with a BA in Digital Film. During that time, he was an active member of the Student Organization of Digital Arts, The White Sands International Film Festival and worked on numerous student films and projects, including co-writing and directing a senior thesis film, Shattered. His influences include Stanley Kubrick, Paul Thomas Anderson, Quentin Tarantino, Woody Allen and the Coen Brothers.
