Nazgol Kashani was born in Tehran, Iran. She left Iran when she was 17 and since then has lived in Brussels, Paris, London and the US. She has studied art mediation and cultural policy in Paris and London, curated several contemporary art exhibitions and worked with BBC World Service as a freelance art journalist and producer. She is a passionate about French Nouvelle Vague Cinema and Italian Cinema, specifically the works of Jean-Luc Godard and Michelangelo Antonioni. She also has an obsession with Woody Allen and has seen all his movies to date.
